The Faith EP 2 “ Faith and Action “
(TH) สวัสดีครับวันนี้เราสู่ EP ที่ 2 กันน่ะครับในเรื่องของ”ความเชื่อ”น่ะครับ อย่างที่บอกไปในครั้งที่แล้วว่าบางครั้งเราอาจจะเข้าใจไปเองว่าเราเชื่อแต่จริงๆแล้วเราอาจไม่มีความเชื่อเลยก็ได้ และสิ่งที่ยากที่สุดคือ การยอมรับให้ได้ว่าเราอาจจะยังไม่มีความเชื่อในเรื่องนั้นๆ จริงๆครับ แล้วที่เราจะรู้ได้อย่างไรครับว่า เรามีความเชื่อหรือแค่เข้าใจ
เช่น เราเข้าใจแล้วว่า “ต้องรักษาสะบาโต” แต่เราอาจจะยังไม่มีความเชื่อว่า “ต้องรักษาสะบาโตให้ดี “ แล้วเราจะรู้ได้อย่างไรครับว่าแบบไหนถึงจะเรียกว่า “เราเริ่มมีความเชื่อแล้ว“ มาดูพระวจนะข้อนี้กันดูก่อนน่ะครับ
‘พี่น้องของข้าพเจ้า แม้ใครจะกล่าวว่าตนมีความเชื่อ แต่ไม่ได้ประพฤติตามจะมีประโยชน์อะไร? ความเชื่อนั้นจะช่วยให้เขารอดได้หรือ? ถ้าพี่น้องชายหญิงคนไหนขาดแคลนเสื้อผ้าและอาหารประจำวัน แล้วมีใครในพวกท่านกล่าวกับเขาทั้งหลายว่า “ขอให้กลับไปอย่างเป็นสุข ให้อบอุ่น และอิ่มหนำสำราญเถิด” แต่ไม่ได้ให้สิ่งจำเป็นฝ่ายกายแก่พวกเขา จะมีประโยชน์อะไร? ทำนองเดียวกัน ลำพังความเชื่อ ถ้าไม่มีการปฏิบัติ ก็เป็นสิ่งที่ตายแล้ว แต่บางคนจะกล่าวว่า “ท่านมีความเชื่อและข้าพเจ้ามีการประพฤติ” จงแสดงให้ข้าพเจ้าเห็นความเชื่อของท่านโดยไม่มีการประพฤติซิ แล้วข้าพเจ้าจะแสดงให้ท่านเห็นความเชื่อของข้าพเจ้าโดยการประพฤติ ท่านเชื่อว่าพระเจ้ามีเพียงองค์เดียว นั่นก็ดี แม้พวกผีก็เชื่อและกลัวจนตัวสั่น คนโฉดเขลาเอ๋ย ท่านต้องการให้พิสูจน์ว่าความเชื่อที่ไม่มีการประพฤตินั้นไร้ผลหรือ? อับราฮัมบรรพบุรุษของเรา ถวายอิสอัคบุตรของท่านบนแท่นบูชา จึงถูกชำระให้ชอบธรรมเพราะการประพฤติไม่ใช่หรือ? ท่านก็เห็นแล้วว่า ความเชื่อนั้นทำงานควบคู่กับการประพฤติของเขา และความเชื่อก็สมบูรณ์โดยการประพฤตินั้น และพระคัมภีร์ก็สำเร็จตามที่กล่าวไว้ว่า “อับราฮัมเชื่อพระเจ้า และพระองค์ทรงถือว่าเขาชอบธรรม และเขาได้ชื่อว่าเป็นสหายของพระเจ้า” พวกท่านก็เห็นแล้วว่า คนหนึ่งคนใดจะถูกชำระให้ชอบธรรมได้ก็เพราะการประพฤติ และไม่ใช่เพราะความเชื่อเพียงอย่างเดียว เช่นเดียวกัน ราหับหญิงโสเภณีก็ถูกชำระให้ชอบธรรมเพราะการประพฤติไม่ใช่หรือ? เมื่อนางได้ต้อนรับพวกผู้สอดแนม และส่งเขาทั้งหลายไปโดยทางอื่น กายที่ปราศจากจิตวิญญาณนั้นตายแล้วอย่างไร ความเชื่อที่ปราศจากการประพฤติก็ตายแล้วอย่างนั้น’
ยากอบ 2:14-26
อย่างที่ผมบอกครับว่า สาเหตุที่เรายังทำบางอย่างไม่ได้ ก็เพราะเรายังไม่เชื่อ หรือ ยังไม่มีความเชื่อในเรื่องนั้นๆ นั้นเอง ใช่แล้วครับ การที่เราจะทราบได้ว่าเรามี “ความเชื่อ” ในเรื่องนั้นๆหรือไม่ ก็ดูได้จากการที่เราได้ “ลงมือหรือเริ่มทำสิ่งนั้นแล้วหรือไม่ ? “ และที่สำคัญมันจะต้องไม่ใช่การทำ เพราะเสียไม่ได้ หรือ เพราะกลัวโดนว่า หรือ เห็นเขาทำเราก็ทำไปกับเขา หรือ เพราะเขามีกฏให้ทำเราก็เลยทำ นั้นจึงส่งผลให้เกิดปรากฏการณ์ ที่เวลาเราอยู่คนเดียวเราก็เลยกลับมาทำสิ่งนั้นๆ อยู่ และส่วนใหญ่ อาการนี้จะเกิดขึ้นกับบาปหลายๆอย่างที่เรามั๊กจะทำก็ต่อเมื่อเราอยู่คนเดียวหรือที่ลับตาคนใช่มั้ยครับ
แล้วถ้าจะเรียกว่า “เราเริ่มมีความเชื่อจะเป็นยังไง ? “ นั้นก็คือ เมื่อเราลงมือหรือเริ่มทำบางอย่างที่เรา “เชื่อ” อย่างต่อเนื่องและสม่ำเสมอ และจะทำเหมือนเดิมทั้งในโอกาสที่มีคนเห็นและไม่เห็น และทราบมั้ยครับ มันมีแบบว่า เราเชื่อมาก เชื่อน้อยด้วยน่ะครับ แต่จะเอาไว้พูดกันใน EP ต่อๆไป วันนี้เราจะอยู่ที่ประเด็นว่า “ เราเริ่มมีความเชื่อ” แล้วหรือยัง ? ถ้าเราเริ่มมีความเชื่อ เราจะเริ่มลงมือทำในสิ่งที่เราเชื่อครับแม้ว่าจะไม่มีใครเห็นด้วย หรือ มันอาจจะเป็นเรื่องที่ไม่มีใครเข้าใจ ไม่มีใครสนับสนุน หรือแม้แต่มีคนขัดขวางก็ตาม ถ้าเราเชื่อจริงๆ เราจะลงมือทำสิ่งนั้นๆไม่ว่า มันจะยากแค่ไหน ยาวนานเท่าไร เราก็ทำมันด้วย ความเชื่อ โดยความเชื่อจะค่อยๆสร้างความหวัง ที่จะไปสู่ความสำเร็จ และโดยความเชื่อและความหวังนี้เอง จึงทำให้เรารู้จักคำว่า “ รัก “ ใช่แล้วครับ เราจะเริ่มรักในสิ่งที่เรา ลงมือทำด้วยความเชื่ออย่างมีความหวังในที่สุด
‘และบัดนี้ ทั้งสามสิ่งนี้ยังดำรงอยู่ คือความเชื่อ ความหวัง และความรัก แต่ความรักนั้นใหญ่ที่สุดในสามสิ่งนี้’

มาดูตัวอย่างความเชื่อกันสักหน่อยครับ
บิดาแห่งความเชื่อ อับราฮัม
‘โดยความเชื่อ เมื่ออับราฮัมได้รับการทรงเรียกให้ออกเดินทางไปยังที่ที่ท่านจะรับเป็นมรดก ท่านก็เชื่อฟังและเดินทางออกไปโดยไม่รู้ว่าจะไปที่ไหน โดยความเชื่อ ท่านได้อาศัยในแผ่นดินแห่งพระสัญญาเหมือนเป็นคนต่างด้าว โดยพักอยู่ในเต็นท์ร่วมกับอิสอัคและยาโคบผู้เป็นทายาทตามพระสัญญาเดียวกันนั้น ท่านเฝ้าคอยนครที่ตั้งอยู่บนรากฐานซึ่งพระเจ้าทรงเป็นสถาปนิกและทรงเป็นผู้สร้าง โดยความเชื่อ อับราฮัมได้รับพลังที่จะมีบุตร แม้ท่านชรามากแล้ว และนางซาราห์เองก็เป็นหมัน เพราะท่านถือว่าพระองค์ผู้ทรงสัญญานั้นซื่อสัตย์ เหตุฉะนั้น จากชายคนเดียวซึ่งเป็นเสมือนคนตายแล้วนั้น ก็ทำให้มีผู้สืบเชื้อสายเกิดมามากมายดังดวงดาวในท้องฟ้า และดังเม็ดทรายอันนับไม่ถ้วนที่ฝั่งทะเล คนเหล่านี้ทั้งหมดตายในขณะที่ยังมีความเชื่ออยู่ และยังไม่ได้รับสิ่งต่างๆ ที่ทรงสัญญาไว้ แต่พวกเขาก็สังเกตเห็นแต่ไกลและรอรับด้วยใจยินดี และยอมรับว่าพวกเขาเป็นคนแปลกถิ่นที่ท่องเที่ยวไปในโลก เพราะคนที่พูดอย่างนี้ก็แสดงให้เห็นชัดแล้วว่า พวกเขากำลังแสวงหาเมืองที่จะได้เป็นของตนเอง ถ้าพวกเขาคิดถึงบ้านเมืองที่จากมานั้น พวกเขาก็คงจะมีโอกาสกลับไปได้ แต่ความจริงพวกเขาปรารถนาบ้านเมืองที่ประเสริฐกว่านั้นคือเมืองสวรรค์ เพราะฉะนั้น พระเจ้าจึงไม่ได้ทรงละอายที่จะได้รับการเรียกว่าเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเขา เพราะพระองค์ทรงจัดเตรียมเมืองหนึ่งไว้สำหรับพวกเขาแล้ว โดยความเชื่อ เมื่ออับราฮัมถูกลองใจ จึงได้ถวายอิสอัคเป็นเครื่องบูชา และท่านผู้ได้รับพระสัญญา ก็พร้อมแล้วที่จะถวายบุตรชายคนเดียวของท่าน คือบุตรคนที่มีพระดำรัสว่า “เขาจะเรียกเชื้อสายของท่านทางสายอิสอัค” ท่านเชื่อว่าพระเจ้าทรงสามารถทำให้คนตายเป็นขึ้นมาได้ ฉะนั้นโดยอุปมาแล้ว ท่านได้รับบุตรคืนมา ‘
ฮีบรู 11:8-19
โยเซฟ ผู้มีความเชื่อว่าพระยาห์เวห์จะพาเขาเข้าสู่ดินแดนพันธสัญญา
‘โยเซฟอาศัยอยู่ในอียิปต์กับครอบครัวบิดาของท่าน โยเซฟมีอายุ 110 ปี โยเซฟเห็นพวกลูกๆ ของเอฟราอิมจนถึงชนรุ่นที่สาม บรรดาบุตรของมาคีร์ผู้เป็นบุตรของมนัสเสห์ก็เกิดมาบนเข่าของโยเซฟ โยเซฟบอกพวกพี่น้องว่า “เราจะตายแล้ว แต่พระเจ้าจะเสด็จมาเยี่ยมเยียนพวกท่านแน่ๆ และจะพาออกไปจากดินแดนนี้ ไปสู่ดินแดนที่พระองค์ทรงปฏิญาณไว้กับอับราฮัม อิสอัคและยาโคบ” โยเซฟให้พงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอลสาบานว่า “พระเจ้าจะเสด็จมาเยี่ยมเยียนพวกท่านแน่ๆ แล้วท่านทั้งหลายต้องนำกระดูกของเราไปจากที่นี่” โยเซฟตายเมื่ออายุได้ 110 ปี พวกเขาก็อาบยารักษาศพ แล้วบรรจุโลงไว้ในอียิปต์’
ปฐมกาล 50:22-26. .
พระเจ้าจึงทรงนำประชากรอ้อมไปทางถิ่นทุรกันดารยังทะเลแดง ชนชาติอิสราเอลก็ออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ มีอาวุธพร้อมทำสงคราม โมเสสเอากระดูกของโยเซฟไปด้วย เพราะโยเซฟให้ชนชาติอิสราเอลสาบานเป็นมั่นเหมาะว่า “พระเจ้าจะทรงเยี่ยมเยียนพวกท่านอย่างแน่นอน แล้วพวกท่านจงเอากระดูกของเราไปจากที่นี่ด้วย” ‘
อพยพ 13:18-19
‘คนอิสราเอลได้ปรนนิบัติพระยาห์เวห์ตลอดสมัยของโยชูวา และตลอดสมัยของพวกผู้ใหญ่ผู้มีอายุยืนกว่าโยชูวา ผู้ได้ทราบถึงบรรดาพระราชกิจซึ่งพระยาห์เวห์ทรงกระทำเพื่ออิสราเอล กระดูกของโยเซฟซึ่งประชาชนอิสราเอลนำขึ้นมาจากอียิปต์นั้น เขาฝังไว้ที่เมืองเชเคม ในส่วนที่ดินซึ่งยาโคบซื้อไว้จากบุตรหลานของฮาโมร์บิดาของเชเคมเป็นเงินหนึ่งร้อยแผ่น ที่นี้ตกเป็นมรดกของพงศ์พันธุ์โยเซฟ ‘
โยชูวา 24:31-32
ดูสิครับเพราะโยเซฟเชื่อ ก่อนตายจึงสั่งคนอิสราเอลเอาไว้ว่า ต้องเอากระดูกของเขาไปในวันที่พระยาห์เวห์ นำชนชาติอิสราเอลออกจากอียิปต์ด้วย และมันถูกดูแลตามคำสั่งของเขาจนถึงยุคของโยชูวา จึงสำเร็จ ใช่แล้ว ความเชื่อต้องประกอบด้วยการกระทำแบบที่เรียกว่า แยกกันไม่ได้เลยครับ ดังนั้นสำหรับ EP นี้ ผมจึงใช้ชื่อว่า “ Faith and Action “ นั้นเอง เพราะถ้าคุณเริ่มมีความเชื่อจริงๆเมื่อไร อะไรก็ตามที่คุณเชื่อจะเริ่มปรากฏจากการกระทำของคุณทีล่ะนิดทีล่ะนิดนั้นเอง ครับ

(EN) The Faith EP 2 “ Faith and Action “
Hello everyone, today we are on EP 2 regarding the topic of ‘Faith’. As I mentioned last time, sometimes we might think that we have faith in something, but in reality, we may not have any faith at all. The hardest thing is to accept that we might not truly have faith in that matter yet. So how do we know if we have faith or just an understanding? For example, we understand that ‘we must keep the Sabbath’, but we might not truly have faith that ‘we must keep the Sabbath well’. How can we determine when we can say, ‘we are starting to have faith’? Let’s take a look at this scripture first.
My brothers, what is the gain if anyone says he has faith, but he does not have deeds? Is the faith able to restore life to him? But if a brother or a sister is naked and may be lacking in daily food, and any one of you say to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but does not give them the things the body needs, what gain is it? So also faith, if it does not have deeds, is dead being by itself. But someone will say, You have faith, and I have deeds. Show me your faith apart from your deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that Elohim is One (echad). You do well; even the demons believe and shudder. But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from deeds is dead? Was not our father Abraham justified by his deeds, offering up his son Isaac on the altar? You see how faith helped with his deeds; and how by his deeds the faith was made perfect. And the Scripture was fulfilled, saying, “And Abraham believed YAHWEH, and it was counted for righteousness to him;” and he was called, Friend of Elohim. You see then, how a man by his deeds becomes righteous, and not by faith only. But in the same way Rahab the inn-keeper was also justified by her deeds, having received the messengers, and sending them out by another way. For as the body is dead apart from the spirit, so also faith without deeds is dead.
Jacob 2:14-26
As I mentioned, the reason we are still unable to do some things is because we still don’t have faith in them, or we have no faith in those matters. That’s right. We can determine whether we have ‘faith’ in those issues by seeing if we have ‘taken action or started doing that thing or not.’ And importantly, it should not be about doing it because we can’t afford not to, or because we are afraid of being criticized, or just mimicking what others are doing, or because there are rules that require us to do it. This results in the phenomenon where, when we are alone, we tend to go back and do those things. Most often, this behavior occurs with various sins that we tend to commit only when we are alone or out of sight, right?
So, if we were to call it “We are starting to have faith, what would that be like?” it means that when we take action or start doing something we “have faith” in continuously and consistently, we will do it the same way whether there are people watching or not. And you know, there are levels to our faith; we can have a lot of faith or have a little faith. But we will save that for the upcoming episodes. Today, we will focus on the question: “Are we starting to have faith?” If we are starting to have faith, we will begin to take action on what we have faith in, even if no one agrees with us, or it may be something that no one understands, no one supports, or even if there are people who oppose us. If we truly have faith, we will take action regardless of how difficult or how long it takes; we will do it with faith. This faith gradually creates hope that will lead to success, and it is through this faith and hope that we come to know the word “love.” Yes, we will eventually begin to love what we do. Take action in faith with hope in the end.
And now faith, hope, and love, these three things remain; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Let’s take a look at some examples of faith. The father of faith, Abraham.
Having been called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he went. By faith he resided as a foreigner in a land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the joint-heirs of the same promise; for he looked forward to a city having the foundations of which the builder and maker is YAHWEH. Also by faith Sarah herself received power for conceiving seed even beyond the time of age, and gave birth; since she deemed the One having promised to be faithful. Therefore, from one man failing through age, numbers were born, like the stars in the heavens, and like the sand on the sea shore, which is innumerable. These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having embraced and confessed that they are strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those saying such things make clear that they seek a fatherland. And truly if they remembered that from which they came out, they had time to return. But now they stretch forth to a better, that is, a heavenly land. Therefore, YAHWEH is not ashamed of them, for Him to be called their Elohim; for He prepared a city for them.By faith Abraham, in his trial, offered up Isaac; and he laid on the altar his only son, whom he had received by promise. as to whom it was said, “In Isaac your Seed shall be called;” and he reasoned within himself that Elohim was able to raise him, even from the dead; and because of this Isaac was given to him as a parable.
Hebrews 11:8-19
Joseph, who believes that Yahweh will bring him into the promised land.
And Joseph lived in Egypt, he and the house of his father. And Joseph lived a hundred and ten years. And Joseph saw the sons of Ephraim to the third generation. Also the sons of Machir the son of Manasseh were born on Joseph’s knees. And Joseph said to his brothers, I am dying, and Elohim visiting will visit you and bring you up from this land to the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, Elohim surely will visit you, and you will bring up my bones from here. And Joseph died, a son of a hundred and ten years. And they embalmed him, and put him in a coffin in Egypt.
Genesis 50:22-26.
But Elohim made the people turn toward the way of the wilderness, to the Sea of Reeds. And the sons of Israel went up armed from the land of Egypt. And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him. For he had made the sons of Israel certainly swear, saying, surely Elohim will visit you, and you shall cause my bones to go from here with you.
Exodus 13:18-19
And Israel served YAHWEH all the days of Yahoshua, and all the days of the elders whose days were prolonged after Yahoshua, and who knew all the work of YAHWEH which He did to Israel. And the bones of Joseph which the sons of Israel brought up out of Egypt, they buried in Shechem, in the portion of the field which Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem, for a hundred silver pieces. And they were for an inheritance to the sons of Joseph.
Yahoshua 24:31-32
Look, because Joseph had faith, before he died he instructed the Israelites to take his bones when Yahweh brought the Israelites out of Egypt. And it was cared for according to his command until the time of Yahoshua, when it was accomplished. Yes, faith must consist of actions that cannot be separated. Therefore, for this EP, I chose the name ‘Faith and Action,’ because whenever you truly start having faith, whatever you have faith in will begin to manifest through your actions little by little.
